Lolo originally appeared in Klonoa: Lunatea's veil for the playstation 2 and always has her friend, Popka, a dog-like creature by her side. She found Klonoa washed up on the bank of the sea of tears and helped Klonoa throughout his adventures. In Lunatea, lolo's original world, Klonoa's ring could not work without the help of a priestess, and Lolo is a priestess in training. Lolo aided Klonoa by being the source that allowed his ring to work, and by being his guide through Lunatea. At first she claimed to be a priestess after ringing a certain bell, which a priestess in training had to be able to do to become a full fledged priestess, by being inside the ring while Klonoa was the actual one who rang the bell. At one point in the game, specifically the maze in teh mountains of Mira Mira, Lolo is forced to remember her past, how she was mocked as being useless by the otehr priestesses in training, since she was the onyl one unable to complete her training.
Because of this, she lost her confidence and refused to aid Klonoa in the battle against the monster in mira mira, leaving him to try and fight it alone: without the powers of his ring. Klonoa's persistence and a lecture from Popka restores her confidence and she aid's Klonoa again to finish off the monster. Though, because of that memory, at the end of the game she revokes her priestess title, saying that she wanted to earn the title on her own power. When Klonoa had to leave Lunatea and return to his own world, Lolo was completely distraught and in tears, but got over it due to Klonoa's words before he left.
The second Game Lolo appeared in was Klonoa: Dream Champ Tournament for the gameboy advance. In this game, Klonoa, Lolo, and many others were summoned to a tournament to decide who was the greatest hero among them. Lolo and Popka decide fight trhoguh the tournament alone, without klonoa's help(since the priestess rule of the ring didn't apply to that world), but failed at the semi-finals when they had to face Guntz. It was revealed that all those who were defeated were being turned into gears, and to 'motivate' Klonoa, Garlen, the one who set up the tournament, had Lolo captured, and told Klonoa that if he won, he wouldn't turn her(or Klonoa) into a Gear. When Klonoa one, it turned out that he was going to turn them into something other than Gears (Klonoa was to become the electronic brain for the mechanical empire), Klonoa, though he planned to anyway, went up against garlen and defeated him, destroying the factory and returning everyone to their original forms.
